Laura Byrnes, the photographer herself started shooting professionaly in 1987 and she has her very firt fine art gallery show in 1989. It's surprising that this talented photographer here was through out of the Photography Program at FIT after a couple of months. With her wonderful skills and beautiful photos, who would have known? The year 1988 was a lucky year for Laura Byrnes becase that was when her work was published for the first time for Accomplice Clothing. She moved to Los Angeles in 1992 and that was when she started taking shots of musicians, celebrities and actors for magazines and record companies.

By 1996, she built Pinup Girl, Inc. and that was when she stopped shooting but instead made clothes. However, that is not the end of her photography skills because in 2006, she started shooting again when her photographer became too busy.

She now shoots a big portion of the PinupGirlClothing.com photos.
