Are epsom salts okay to use in the bath before exfoliation?

Q: I've tried using the mitten twice now on my body after taking long, hot showers and have not gotten any dead skin to fall off. (I've only gotten a little off my face) I'm going to try to soak in a bath instead and see if that works. . . I know you can't add soap to the bath water, but would epsom salts be okay?
A: You can give empsom salts a go.
Just know that sometimes people don't have the rolls of skin coming off but they still get super soft skin. It just depends on your body and how much dead skin your body carries around.
It's actually surprising you had dead skin rolls coming off your face! This is the opposite of most people! :)
I wouldn't scrub overly hard on your face - just enough for redness and a little discomfort.
Hope this helps! :)
