Cruising with Ratty Caddy
I became a Pin Up because as a little girl adored the pictures of my Mother and Grandmother during the 40's and 50's. Their hair, clothes, and grace just made me swoon with envy at their beauty and style. Being a teenager dabbled in it but was soon shot down and put on the back burner due to having children very young.
Fast forward many many years later I have finally grown into my 50's style with the help of a wonderful family that is very supportive of my new found confidence.
I am one of the rare Pin Up's as I own 2 antique cars and know how to work on both of them. I have a 1930 Ford Model A Tudor sedan done up in a traditional hot rod style and a 1957 Cadillac series 62 4 door that is in the process of being finished for 2013 summer car show season. This is how I met and started volunteering with the Pinup Dollies, we help support and serve military veterans.
I am just getting started but having lots of fun with it and if I can do it anyone can!
