RETIN -A

Q: I use RETIN -A on my face after my nightly cleansing. Can i still use it after using the mitten or should i wait and use the RETIN -A on the nights i do not use the mitten???

A: Not too sure what Retina - a is actually!

The mitten is only used to scrub hard once a week. I would start with just using the mitten then and some moisturizer.

Hi there Sorelle,

I don't know if you've read about Retin-A yet but in reply to what it is:

It's a topical gel for acne (and for skin in general).

It is a name brand for tretinoin.

Retin-A (tretinoin) is a topical (applied to the skin) form of vitamin A that helps the skin renew itself.

The Retin-A and Avita brands of tretinoin are used to treat acne.

The Renova brand of tretinoin is used to reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles and mottled skin discoloration, and to make rough facial skin feel smoother.

Retin-A may also be used for purposes other than those listed here.

Do not use Retin-A on sunburned, windburned, dry, chapped, irritated, or broken skin. Also avoid using this medication in wounds or on areas of eczema. Wait until these conditions have healed before using Retin-A.

So I definitely agree with NOT using it on the day you use the baiden mitten. It will totally be too harsh for the freshly scrubbed skin! Hope this helps! :)
